The family patriarch, John Gougoustamos opened Diner 248 in 2009 with, two of his four sons, Stavros and John Jr. Their passion and determination to provide guests with outstanding quality and service was the driving force of their success. A few years later Stavros and John Jr. along with their two other brothers, Tom and Vasilios opened Home Town Breakfast, Bar & Grill. Together the four brothers continue the family tradition of excellence. “When it comes to serving great food, quality as opposed to quantity separates our restaurants from our competition”, stated Tom Gougoustamos.
The Gougoustamos brothers know that in order to serve quality food to their guests they need to buy quality ingredients from their suppliers. He stated that “Managing food purchases was a manual and time-consuming process for us. I would spend a lot of time making sure we were getting the right products at the best price. The addition of our second restaurant just added to the challenge”.

Stavros and his brothers are also planning to expand their business to include a function facility at their Home Town property.
